This 1-day hike on Mount Meru can take approximately 6 to 8 hours, depending on your pace and the trail conditions. It’s recommended to start early in the morning to allow enough time to complete the hike and descend before dark.
The most common route for a day hike on Mount Meru is the Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut trail. This trail is well-marked and offers beautiful scenery along the way in 2025 & 2026.
