Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Moshi / Arusha
Arrive in Moshi or Arusha and transfer to your hotel. Pre-climb briefing and preparation.

Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi/ArushaDay 2 – Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
Drive to Umbwe Gate. Begin hike through lush rainforest to Umbwe Camp (2,900 m). Steep ascent, moderate difficulty.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Tented camp at Umbwe CampDay 3 – Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp
Ascend through rainforest, crossing moorland. Enjoy dramatic views of the southern glaciers. Descend slightly to Barranco Camp (3,900 m).

Accommodation: Tented camp at Barranco CampDay 4 – Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley Camp
Climb the famous Barranco Wall. Hike across alpine meadows to Karanga Valley Camp (4,000 m). Moderate difficulty, excellent acclimatization.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Tented camp at Karanga ValleyDay 5 – Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp
Hike through rocky alpine terrain to Barafu Camp (4,600 m). Prepare for summit attempt. Rest in the afternoon, early dinner, and overnight before summit night.

Accommodation: Tented camp at BarafuDay 6 – Summit Uhuru Peak and descend to Mweka Camp
Early morning start (~midnight) to climb Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Watch sunrise over the crater rim. Descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 m) for overnight.

Accommodation: Tented camp at MwekaDay 7 – Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate & Return to Moshi
Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive certificate of achievement. Transfer back to hotel in Moshi/Arusha for rest and departure.
