Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Moshi / Arusha
Arrive in Moshi or Arusha and transfer to your hotel. Pre-climb briefing, gear check, and preparation.

Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi/ArushaDay 2 – Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
Drive to Umbwe Gate. Begin the climb through dense rainforest to Umbwe Camp (2,900 m). Steep ascent with moderate difficulty.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Tented camp at UmbweDay 3 – Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp
Ascend through the rainforest into moorland terrain. Enjoy views of the southern glaciers. Descend slightly to Barranco Camp (3,900 m) for overnight.

Accommodation: Tented camp at BarrancoDay 4 – Barranco Camp to Karanga Valley Camp
Climb the famous Barranco Wall and cross alpine meadows. Arrive at Karanga Valley Camp (4,000 m) for rest and acclimatization.

Accommodation: Tented camp at KarangaDay 5 – Karanga Valley Camp to Barafu Camp
Hike through rocky alpine terrain to Barafu Camp (4,600 m). Prepare for summit attempt with early rest.

Accommodation: Tented camp at BarafuDay 6 – Summit Uhuru Peak & Descend to Mweka Gate
Early morning start (~midnight) to climb Uhuru Peak (5,895 m). Watch sunrise over the crater. Descend through Mweka Camp and rainforest to Mweka Gate. Receive summit certificate and transfer back to hotel in Moshi/Arusha.
